Homestead Funding is proud to be a Hall of Fame Sponsor for the Inaugural Charity Skins Game Tournament to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady on August 16, 2022, at the Mohawk Golf Club.
The Boys & Girls Club of Schenectady is proud to announce David Duval will be playing in the Skins Game. From 1997-2001, David Duval won both the Open Championship and the Players Championship on his way to 13 tour wins. In 2000, David became the number one golfer in the world, taking the title away from Tiger Woods.
Blaine McCallister will be hosting the tournament. A PGA pro golfer since 1981, McCallister has played on the PGA Tour and Champions Tour with five professional wins. He has been a frequent player and crowd favorite in the Capital District for over 25 years.
Founded in 1936 by a volunteer group of community leaders, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady has always aimed to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. The organization promotes the social, educational, health, leadership, and character development of local youth during critical periods of their growth. The Club currently reaches over 11,000 young people annually regardless of income, religion, race, origin, or sexual orientation. As the largest after-school youth development provider for kids in Schenectady County, the Boys & Girls Club prides itself on serving the children and teens that need the most support. Over the last two years, the organization is proud to have not closed its doors for a single moment during the pandemic while serving over 100,000 free nutritious meals, addressing basic needs, and providing a safe place for young people to learn, grow and have fun with their peers.
