I have been in the mortgage industry for over 25 years and have helped thousands of borrowers turn into homeowners. Before joining Homestead, I was a Regional Manager for a mortgage banker and owned a mortgage brokerage prior to that.

I was born and raised in Manhattan, and moved to the Southern Tier when I married my wife Jeannie in 1994. We found the area to be beautiful and scenic while the people are second to none! I am the proud father of triplet daughters. After they were born, I decided it was time to make a career change from owning a Manhattan private investigation agency to the “safe career” of banking. I take pride in making sure to ask all the right questions, and provide answers for the borrower up front, which provides for a smooth mortgage process while getting my borrowers to the closing table with confidence.

I believe in always keeping on top of all facets of real estate and real estate finance transactions. I hold a NYS Estate Brokers License (I do not list or sell real estate), as well as the highest designation the IRS awards individuals as an IRS enrolled agent. Being an IRS enrolled agent allows me unlimited representation rights of taxpayers nationwide before the IRS in audit and other tax matters. While I do not practice as a Real Estate Broker or Enrolled Agent, they allow me to assist borrowers. Through my extensive knowledge and continued education of real estate and finance, I can review and analyze their income properly to maximize their buying power.

When not helping people fulfill their dream of home ownership, I am out hiking with my wife and taking pictures of our adventures in my old found hobby of photography. Of course, spending time with my daughters Rebecca, a Registered Nurse in Sarasota; Emily, a Licensed Master Social Worker in Buffalo; and Alexandra, a soon to be Veterinarian in her final year of externships at University of Iowa, are on the top of my list.
