Maureen Kohler is a Licensed Loan Originator who recently joined Homestead Funding after successfully owning and operating her own mortgage brokerage for more than 28 years. With over 35 years of experience in the mortgage industry and an MBA, Maureen brings deep expertise, sound judgment, and a steady, practical approach to every client she serves.

Maureen is passionate about helping people achieve their homeownership goals—whether they’re first-time buyers, veterans, or borrowers with unique financing needs. She believes the mortgage process should feel clear and manageable, not overwhelming, and takes pride in guiding her clients through each step with transparency, care, and confidence. By tailoring solutions to each client’s unique situation, she ensures they feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.
