David Husnay

David B. Husnay is a Loan Originator for Homestead Funding. Born and raised in Utica, NY, David has worked in the mortgage industry for over a decade. He is passionate about working with new buyers, connecting with people, and growing relationships with his clients and realtors.

David originally began work in the mortgage industry in 2014 and has held numerous positions including Account Administrator, Closing Coordinator, and Supervisor of Residential Mortgage Closings and Servicing. He then moved into mortgage origination in 2019.

David is confident that his previous positions have given him the advantage of extensive knowledge for superior service to his clients. He works hard to make his buyers feel supported and confident during their homebuying process. He chose Homestead Funding as he continues his industry journey for the culture and admires how focused the company is about creating a positive experience during the homebuying process for all involved.

When not helping his buyers, Dave enjoys cooking Sunday dinners for his large family, holiday cookouts, and barbeques.
