Melissa Flickenschild is a Licensed Loan Originator for Homestead Funding.
Melissa brings a wealth of understanding and guidance to her borrowers, leveraging her three decades of mortgage and banking experience. She aims to make the process transparent for her clients, ensuring they understand their affordability and loan. The best part of her job is seeing homebuyers she works with at the closing table. No matter who she works with, Melissa loves to hear her borrowers’ stories and help them continue writing chapters in their new home.
Melissa has a true understanding of local lending. Her combined experience at a local bank and retail lending have given her a well-rounded understanding of mortgage programs. This makes her a great resource for not only borrowers, but their real estate agents as well.
Outside of the office, Melissa is fond of spending time with her family and among her community. Originally from Ulster County, she now resides in her dream home in Milford, PA. Melissa volunteers her time at a food pantry and makes meals a few times a month for a local shelter. Melissa has many hobbies, including camping with her husband in the Adirondacks, book club, and sewing.
