Emily McVay

Emily McVay is a Licensed Loan Originator for Homestead Funding and provides home financing for both New York and Pennsylvania customers with an emphasis on renovation programs and first-time homebuyers. She has nearly 8 years of experience in the mortgage industry and was in the Presidents Club in 2020 and 2021.

Emily works non-traditional bank hours, which provides working professionals and other borrowers better access to her services. She communicates with her clients on their time and in the manner they are most comfortable, whether over e-mail, phone, video, or in person. She believes her experience, availability, and industry knowledge separate her from the competition.

She also founded Begin Again Kits, an organization that provides kitchen essentials to women escaping domestic violence. When she isn’t assisting her borrowers or volunteering in her community, Emily is often found spending time outside or gardening with her children and animals on her small hobby farm.
